The quality of a school district can have a very significant impact on the value of your home as well as the future value of your home. Top rated districts attract a higher volume of potential buyers which, in turn, puts strain on the supply side which then drives prices.
Understanding that the school district a home is located in, will have a significant impact on its value isn’t enough, in order to apply that concept we also need to know where different districts rank, and the data that is used to come to determine the ranking.
To begin we’ll take a look at the school rankings as provided by niche.com and the data that is provided to determine where different school districts rank relative to their counterparts throughout the state.

As Wayzata is currently the top rated public school district in the state it should come to no surprise that home values have grown significantly over the past several years.
